Tahini sauce loosens raw tahini paste with lemon juice, garlic, and water (sometimes yogurt) into a pourable, tangy condiment. It is the sauce ladled over falafel, shawarma, and grilled vegetables across Levantine and Middle Eastern cooking — distinct from the thick raw tahini paste it starts from.
